We invite you to learn more about Lighthouse School! Please join us for an Open House. You can take a tour of the school and engage in a discussion about curriculum and student work with Head of School Dr. Charles F. Clark and Director of Education and Co-Founder Lizbet Carroll Fuller.
Application Process:
- Attend an Open House. If you cannot, please call us to arrange a tour at 508.228.0427 or email Office Manager Nancy Tobias at ntobias@nantucketlighthouseschool.org.
- Submit an Application along with a $40 application fee. Call us for an application packet or fill one out online (see sidebar on this page). Although applications are accepted year round, we do have limited openings available. We have a suggested application deadline of February 4, 2011, as we are putting classes together. Applications received after this date are considered on a space available basis.
- If applicable, submit Financial Aid Application by February 11, 2011.
- Once your application is complete, we will contact you to set up an interview with the Director of Education. We ask that both parents and the prospective student be present for the interviews, which are generally scheduled in January and February.
- Once the interview is complete, children applying for Primary through 8th grade will be invited to spend a day in the classroom.
- Notification of admissions decisions are mailed in late March.
