James Schultz

James was born in rural Illinois and raised on a farm. He attended Northern Illinois University, graduating in 1969 with a B.S. in Marketing. He served in the US Army until 1972. His employment spanned from 1973 to his retirement in 2012 at RR Donnelley & Sons, which was the world's largest printer at that time. Opportunities in various fields unfolded during his tenure at RRD, where he began in sales, managed one of the business operations, and ultimately took charge of relationships with several major book publishers.

Since retirement, he and his wife, Betsy, divide their time between Nantucket and Naples, Florida. The appreciation for the value of education, instilled by his mother, an educator, has accompanied him throughout both his business and personal life.
