Rooted in Community

Since Nantucket Lighthouse School began, our community has played an essential role in shaping the school we are today. Families and friends have given their time, shared their talents, carried on traditions, gathered in celebration, and supported Lighthouse in ways both large and small.

That spirit of participation is part of what makes Lighthouse more than a school. It makes us a community.

Tuition provides the foundation for a Lighthouse education, but it does not cover the full cost of providing the small classes, dedicated teachers, hands-on experiences, and thoughtful learning environment that define a Lighthouse education. Philanthropy, volunteerism, and community participation help make that experience possible.

There is no single way to be involved. Whether you give, volunteer, attend an event, share a skill, or invest in the future of our school, you become part of what makes Lighthouse possible.
