Kelly Burke

After spending countless summers on Nantucket, Kelly’s love for the island deepened when she became a year-round resident in 2021 following the birth of her son. For Kelly, there is simply no place more magical to raise a toddler. Her first introduction to Nantucket Lighthouse School came through the playgroup Little Lighthouse—but it quickly became much more once her son started Small School in 2024. As a single mom by choice, Kelly has found deep meaning in the phrase “it takes a village,” and for her, Nantucket Lighthouse School has become exactly that. The school not only sees her son for who he is but also for who he can become.

Professionally, Kelly brings more than 30 years of experience in public relations and brand strategy as the Executive Director of MullenLowe PR U.S.

Kelly is honored to give back to a community that has already given so much to her family.
