Meet Mackenzie
B.S. Marine Science, Eckerd College
Mackenzie has served for over seven years as an Operations Manager for a successful local business. Prior to moving to Nantucket, she earned a bachelor’s degree in marine science from Eckerd College. After spending her college summers working seasonally on the island, she moved to Nantucket full-time to begin her professional career.
In her previous role, Mackenzie thrived in operations and team leadership. She oversaw complex logistics, managed client relations, and supervised multiple departments. Her experience managing people, budgets, and day-to-day operations makes her a natural problem solver and communicator.
Mackenzie is thrilled to join Nantucket Lighthouse School as the Director of Development & Events. She is passionate about supporting the school’s mission and fostering the thoughtful, connected environment that makes lifelong learning possible. She is excited to bring her professional skills and community ties to the school and looks forward to leading beloved events and nurturing relationships with the supportive network that surrounds it.
