What Nantucket Lighthouse School means to Meg

“I love the playground; mud, dirt, sand, snow in the winter. All of these are a part of recess fun. Kids get to be kids in the messiest way. There is room for imagination and developing friendships. An environment that is driven by the kids' ideas, not mine, fosters independence and creativity. Races, cartwheels, play kitchens and fairy houses abound. Nantucket Lighthouse School offers the happy play space I remember from my own childhood.”
