Tiffany is an early childhood educator with more than 11 years of experience working with children from infancy through preschool. Working with young children has always been a source of joy for her. She loves getting to know each child’s unique personality, watching them discover new things, and helping them build confidence and independence along the way. She believes children learn best when they feel happy, safe, supported, and cared for.
Tiffany was born in the United States and grew up in the Azores, Portugal. After growing up surrounded by island life, she found her way to another special island and has been happy to call Nantucket home for the past 12 years. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with her husband, their son, and their little dog, making memories together and enjoying all that Nantucket has to offer.
What Nantucket Lighthouse School means to Tiffany
“I love Nantucket Lighthouse School because it feels like more than just a school it feels like a community. I love the warm and welcoming environment and the way children are encouraged to be themselves, explore their interests, ask questions, and learn in ways that are meaningful to them. I especially value the strong relationships that are built between teachers, children, and families. Being part of a school that celebrates childhood, encourages curiosity, and makes every child feel known, valued, and cared for is very meaningful to me. I am excited to be part of the Nantucket Lighthouse School community, where I can continue growing as an educator while helping children feel happy, confident, and excited about learning.”
